The Special Election for the Braddock District Supervisor race is December 9th!

Starting THIS FRIDAY (10/24), you can vote in both the November General Election and the Braddock District Special Election for a 9-day overlapping period. Visit the Fairfax County Government Center once and vote in two elections. This overlap will continue until early voting for the General Election ends on 11/1, but early voting for the Braddock District special election will continue through 12/6: Please note that early voting for each election will be held in different rooms, so be sure to ask where to go for the Special Election.

Early voting will also be offered at the Burke Centre Library from 11/29 - 12/6

Why vote early?

-It guarantees that your vote will be cast in the event plans change on Election Day.

-You can save Ken money since he can allocate resources to reach those who have not yet voted.

-You can avoid longer lines.

-The weather is not as cold as it will be in December.

-It frees you up to help get the word out about Ken's campaign, encourage others to vote early, and drive others to the polls either for early voting or on election day.

Preparing to Vote​
Registering to vote only takes a few minutes online but makes a huge difference in helping to shape the direction of Fairfax County. Since the race for the Braddock District will likely come down to a special election, please check the Fairfax County Board of Elections website for the deadline to register. The website will also list the voter eligibility requirements (e.g., have a valid Virginia driver's license/ID, be a US citizen and Virginia resident, be 18 years old on or before the election, and not currently convicted of a felony or disqualified to vote). Be sure to also have your license/ID number, social security number, and your date of birth. You can also register in person or by mail.
